Hello! What a wonderful attendance at the July and August meetings, including the induction of four new members and the attendance of some future members. We had a full house! Also, we want to thank Jo Grant for allowing the Club to participate in the August 26th WOMEN4WOMEN Event at the Colonnade and having Jo Grant as our guest speaker.
Glenn and I have identified all SIX of the permanent Rotary locations around the Sun City West and Surprise areas, including – SCW Mediation Garden – SCW Bearsley Park; Two trees planted in Dick McComb Park; Surprise Peace Pole – W. Statler Plaza; Adopt-a Street signs- N. Parkview Pl; a Rotary Paver at the Marley Park Subdivision, Heritage Park area; and a Rotary Wheel sign on Grand Ave near the entrance to the city area. Over the next few years, I recommend the Club consider, if possible, modifying the signs to reflect the merged Rotary Club. Pictures will be coming in a future bulletin.
