I have learned that if you want to cheer yourself up, you should try cheering someone else up. I don't think I've ever heard more profound words than what I have just shared with you. As we near the holidays, let us still continue to put Service Above Self and to cheer others up as well as yourself.
Surprise and Sun City West Members, please give yourselves a round of applause. We're almost halfway through the 2024-2025 year and we still have many more things to accomplish before June 30th. We had a spectacular Adopt-a-Street Cleanup, an awesome Military Appreciation event, the 16th Annual Golf Tournament and with Jack Braley as our new Program Chair and Maria Aros as our new Social Chair, I am confident we can continue making the Magic of Rotary a high point within our club. No matter what happens or how bad it may seem today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
