Hello, Fellow Rotarians and Friends,
July, 2026 brings a sense of renewal to our club as we welcome the new officers and directors and embark on a new year of service to our communities. We will continue to expand our reach into the NW Valley area.
July is Maternal and Child Services Month, a time to focus on the efforts in preventing treatable deaths of mothers and children under five.
"We cannot talk about the future without talking about children. They are our future."
Past RI President James L. Lacy, 1998-99
At our Club’s Changing of the Guard dinner we heard from incoming DG Joe Sweeney who stressed the importance of relationships in Rotary. Our new AG Darlene Egger was also in attendance with outgoing AG Adria Poindexter.
Looking Back and Moving Forward
Our Club has much to be proud of. We have strengthened our local impact, contributed to the global fight against polio, and deepened the bonds of fellowship within our meetings. As we prepare for the year ahead, I ask each of you to consider:
- Supporting New Leadership: Get involved
- Chair / join a committee
- Upcoming Dates to Remember
- 7/6 : Board of Directors meeting
- 7/14 : Susan Tordella speaks about a service project in Ghana
- 7/28 : Club Assembly
I encourage all members to stay actively involved as we approach the new Rotary year. Let’s ensure our ongoing projects are supported fully and take pride in the goals we’ve achieved.
Thank you for your tireless dedication to our club, generosity and for everything you do to make our community a better place. Let’s make this July a month of celebration and renewed purpose. Lastly, let’s not forget to enjoy the fellowship that makes our club special. Take time to connect, share stories, and celebrate the friendships that strengthen our mission.
I am proud to serve alongside each of you.
Yours in Rotary Service,
Phil Souza
President (2026-2027)
