Billy's Place Grief Support

Every child who loses someone deserves a safe place to grieve, and so do the families walking beside them. Billy’s Place in Peoria offers grief support for children, teens, and families, and this presentation will explain our programs, the impact we are making, and the valuable work we are doing in the community. 

Kristi Hunter is the Development Specialist at Billy's Place, a Peoria nonprofit that provides grief support services for children, teens and families. Since joining the team in March 2025, she has focused on building relationships with businesses, groups and neighbors who make this work possible. Kristi holds a master's degree in education and brings a teacher's heart to every conversation about helping kids through the hardest time of their lives.
