Rotary Club of Surprise & Sun City West Partners with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to Provide Free Books to Children in Surprise
Surprise, AZ – March 17, 2025 – The Rotary Club of Surprise & Sun City West is thrilled to announce its partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) to provide free books to children in Surprise, AZ, from birth to age five. This transformative literacy initiative will officially launch on April 5th, 2025, at the City of Surprise KIDZ Jamboree, bringing the joy of reading to local families and fostering a love for books at an early age.
The Rotary Club is actively raising funds to sponsor this impactful project through fundraising events and donations. By supporting this initiative, the club aims to ensure that every child in Surprise has access to age-appropriate books delivered monthly directly to their homes, helping to build strong literacy skills and a foundation for lifelong learning.

Families in Surprise will be able to register their children for the program beginning in April. Community members and businesses interested in supporting this initiative are encouraged to contribute through sponsorships or donations.
