TASTE OF SURPRISE - APRIL 25TH

The Taste of Surprise & Art Festival is a vibrant community event that brings together local cuisine, art, and live entertainment to celebrate the unique flavor and creativity of the West Valley. The festival will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026  from 4pm to 8pm at the Surprise Baseball Stadium on the main concourse

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Surprise and Sun City West, the event offers attendees the chance to enjoy delicious food, explore stunning artwork from local artists, and experience live music—all while making a difference in the community.

Funds raised through this event enroll local children in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that delivers free, high-quality, age-appropriate books each month to children from birth to age five. This global initiative works through local partnerships to put books directly into the hands and homes of young readers, fostering a lifelong love of reading.

Placing books in the hands and hearts of children in Surprise, Arizona is our goal. The Rotary Club of Surprise and Sun City West has signed up 1,000 pre-school children in the Surprise area to date, adding 12,000 new books this year. With these funding donations, this program can be continued and even expanded.

As one of the largest community gatherings in the West Valley, this event serves as a vital fundraiser for the Surprise and Sun City West Rotary Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to supporting early childhood literacy.
With the support of sponsors, attendees, and community partners, this event makes a lasting impact—one book, one child, and one bright future at a time.

Come join in the fun with over 20+ restaurants scheduled to participate showcasing their cuisines with food sample to 50+ classic cars displayed from the West Valley Cruisers Car Club of Surprise and art demonstrations and displays from WHAM and Ground Floor Artists. There will be live music, and a beer garden.
