President Jim held his first meeting of Rotary Year 2025-2026 on July 8. He covered the upcoming year and went over all our committee positions. 
President Jim held his first meeting of the Rotary Club of Surprise & Sun City West on July 8, 2025, at the Colonnade in Surprise AZ.
For the hottest day of the year to date, the meeting was extraordinarily well attended with 5 visitors/ potential new members
and all the members who are surviving the heat in attendance.
President Jim provided us his goals for the year as well as going over our strategic plan for membership, social events, Rotary Foundation Giving and most importantly the Rotary Vision.

Immediate Past President Traci gave out some awards for folks unable to attend the Changing of the Guard Dinner

We then had happy bucks and our split the pot (50/50) and adjourned with our next meeting July 22.
Our Speaker will be Lisa Gill from the SCW Alliance for Business & Community. We will also hear from one of our Scholarship recipients, Maya Delgado on her academic journey.
